They say dogs know...

When I came home from work tonight I closed the gate to the yard and let the dogs out, like I do each night I am home and Mark is at work. Then I feed them and give them their after dinner raw hides.

I went upstairs to see who was chewing and where and Bailey was on the guest bed and she had just finished and I laid down next to her and she nuzzled her head against me and wagged her tail in a slow methodical pace. She kept snuggling up to me, and growled at the other two when they came to close to the bed. She wanted to be close to me.

Even the two pups know that something is different and don't even bother going in to the back rooms of the house where Trapper was spending most of his time.

Everyone (except me) is sleeping on a couch or chair, it has been a long day all around.

hey ed, this is josh. i just wanted to tell you how sorry i am about trapper, i know that he is in a better place now, and nothing is bothering him, and letting a pet go is never easy, especially when you have had him for so long. and when you have a pet for that long, i know that he becomes a part of the family, but it will all heal with time.
