So hard to say goodbye...

You know in your heart it's the right thing to do, but it is still one of the hardest things to go through.

At 11:30am my little buddy took his last breath and his overworked body ceased to be in the pain that had made his quality of life deteriorate over the last ten days.

I know he is no longer in pain and he is in a much better place.

Although a small dog, he was a big part of my life for the 13 years that he was with us. He traveled to Buffalo when I took a job there. He traveled to Northern New Hampshire when I took a job there (and we survived a winter there together).
