Hundreds of the best reasons to live in (or visit) the Washington, DC area at this time of year are the Cherry trees that bloom in the Spring. It is even better when the fickle little blooms choose to grace us during the actual Cherry Blossom Festival. This year they began opening on the day the Festival started, last Saturday, March 31st.
