Well it finally happened. No matter how many "No Snow" Dances I did it was bound to happen. Well there are about 2 inches of the crappy white stuff on the ground with "freezing drizzle" coming down now.
I wouldn't have minded it to much but when a 30 mile commute home this evening takes 2 hours, then I have a problem.
Some things that should be followed during a snowstorm/icestorm:
If the country/state you come from does not register an annual snowfall, please for the love of all that is holy, do NOT drive.
This would be the time to NOT be watching the flip down 20" LCD/DVD player in your Escalade with your big rims and tires that were definitely not made to be driven in snow.
Speaking on your cell phone is one thing, madly gesturing with your other hand is a problem. At least maintain some contact with the steering wheel during a 10 minute period.
Maintain a constant speed. Even if the speed is 3mph then do it. Don't let a gap open and then do 75mph to "catch up" to me. That scares the hell out of me. How do I not know that you are one of the other options above.
I can't wait till the drive in to work tomorrow.
Yay!
